#6 In this illusion, Jonathan Pendragon is locked inside a trunk, often after being restrained with handcuffs, ropes, bags, etc. then Charlotte Pendragon stands on the trunk and holds a curtain up to momentarily conceal her entire body. When the curtain is lowered, it is now revealed to be Jonathan standing atop the box i.e, Jonathan and Charlotte Pendragon having changed places instantaneously. When the box is opened, it is shown to contain Charlotte now. This illusion even won them a place in the 50th edition of The Guinness Book of Records, under the heading of the "Fastest Transformation Illusion". Metamorphosis

 Explanation The Metamorphosis trick uses a device known as the substitution trunk, which has a secret panel that allows its occupant to sneak out. Having extricated himself from the sack in which he was tied since the sack is another prop it has chain so by simply unzipping the sack, Jonathan would climb out of the hidden door and crouch behind a curtain lifted by Charlotte. The Pendragons would then change places, Jonathan appearing behind the curtain as Charlotte disappeared into the box.
